In accordance with New York State Law, this site lists information about Sex Offenders.  

Level 3: An offender assigned to this risk level means the risk to the community is high, according to the Division of Criminal Justice Services. Relevant information may be released about a Level 3 offender including name, exact address, photo, background information, etc.

Level 2: An offender assigned this risk level means the risk to the community is moderate, according to the Division of Criminal Justice Services. Relevant information may be released about a Level 2 offender but not the offender’s exact address.

Level 1: An offender assigned this risk level means that the risk to the community is low.  Police agencies are now allowed to release some information regarding a Level 1 offender.
