The water district includes the Village of Arcade, as well as portions of the Town of Arcade and Town of Freedom. 

The source of the water for the Village of Arcade is two springs and three wells. The two springs are located in Sandusky and they supply about one-half of the Village needs. At times the springs cannot supply the Village needs, a supplemental well is located in Sandusky.

The Village Water Department maintains the distribution pipe ranging in size from 6’ to 12” and is also responsible for the  portion of the water service from the water main to the curb box.  Any problems from the curb box to the house and all indoor plumbing is the responsibility of the owner.

The Village of Arcade Water Department has prepared the Annual Water Quality Reports for the two water systems it operates,  Arcade and Sandusky. A copy of the report will be sent to each water customer served. A copy of each report is also available by clicking on:
