Electric bills, water and sewer bills and taxes may be paid in person during regular office hours, by mail or placed in our night depository which is located next to the front door. The night depository is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Refuse and recyclables are collected every Friday.

All refuse must be contained in garbage bags marked with Village of Arcade tags.

All refuse must be within three feet of the roadside by 6:30 a.m. Builders, remodelers and landscapers are responsible for disposal of their own refuse

Holidays observed by the garbage collection contract are: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on or before your pickup day, your pickup day will be on Saturday for that week only.

Bulk items such as furniture, carpeting, or other large, dense items are collected every Friday from March through November.

White Goods including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, clothes washers and dryers and water heaters will be collected the first Friday of each month from March through November.

When the Village Office is closed, garbage tags can be purchased at Shur-fine Foods.

The Village Clerk-Treasurer’s office also serves as the Registrar of Vital Statistics and has birth and death records for the Village and Town of Arcade from 1882 to the present. Marriage records are available from the Town Clerk’s office.
